Belinda, the gift that keeps on giving

THANK GOODNESS she was very much on the cheap side despite a freshly passed MOT (advisories where done by the seller, have seen receipts), new cambelt and other belts and a new water pump ... thus far I have ... (in less than two months)
- replaced suspension (did not enjoy being boinged onto the ceiling at each manhole cover in the road)
- replaced rear drive shaft
- replace speedo clock
- new crank sensor
- new TPS
- new exhaust (that fell off on day two!)
- complete rear chassis weld / re-construct
- new towbar fitted
- new tyres all around
There's still a few issues, like a lack of acceleration at speed ('speed' being anything over about 45mph!)/ on inclines, particularly when towing (load is well within Belinda's capabilities, I've towed the same load with our other 2.5 tds for many years), a very wobbly door lock know, a lazy sliding door, window switches that basically lift out (it's ok, I now have 'the knack') ....
God job I really do like driving her ....
