Starting Problems on Diesel Bongo (2000)

This query has been received from a garage on the Isle of Wight. Can anyone help?
I hope you can help with a fault I have on a 2000 Mazda Bongo 2.5 Diesel. The vehicle was recovered to us with a suspected blown turbo as it was revving up on its own (that's what the AA said). Removal of the turbo showed nothing obvious so the cylinder head was removed. Oil had been leaking from the front corner so it was skimmed and refitted. However now it will crank but not fire.
There is fuel up to the pump but nothing coming out at the injectors. Spraying a small amount of easy start will make the engine try to start but then it stops. I have some 12V feeds to the plugs that go to the fuel pump but don't know if they are correct as I cant find wiring diagrams for this vehicle.
My other concern is being unable to flash code read it. I have linked pin C (TEN) and pin E (GND) with a jumper wire and pin D (B+) and pin A (FEN) with a led but do not get any flashing pulse at all as I want to see if there are codes for crankshaft sensor or camshaft sensor. I have tested pin D to confirm there is a live feed.
I was wandering what you thought about this.
