What have I done

Hello fellow Bongoids
I recently changed my O2 sensor due to chewed wiring and now I have a load of problems, namely a flashing hold light, charge light, check engine light, P0113, P0118, P0123, P0114 and P1791 fault codes.
Can anyone help me out with suggestions and maybe a wiring diagram for the charging circuit as the charge light stays on even when the plug on the alternator is unplugged, I thought the charge light was grounded by the alternator to make it light or am I wrong.
Any help would be greatly welcome
P.S. Um Bongo is a 2005 2.0l
P.P.S. This is my 1st post
Thanks
Ken

Welcome, it sounds like a significant wiring loom problem, presumably the mice have been in the vehicle ?
Yes the Charing light is made to come on by a simple Earth from the alternator, so it sounds like the loom is damaged and earthing that wire.
The Hold light flashing means that the ECU is reporting a fault - not surprising, and you seem to have read the error numbers.
I think you need to investigate the wiring looms and find where they have been got at and then set about repairing them!

What about checking the wiring you fixed assuming the lights weren’t on before that

I have checked the 4 wires to the O2 sensor and also unplugged it in case the new one is faulty, but the O2 sensor is not one of the fault codes, they are all engine sensor codes. There must be a common connection to them all that's iffy.

Has the wiring been chewed?
We're there any codes prior to sensor change?
Does the vehicle start and run OK?
How did you retrieve the codes?
Have you cleared codes?
If yes, did they all come back exactly?

The wiring looked like it had been cut or slashed at, maybe the cat thieves have been in and were disturbed
Codes weren't checked prior to sensor change, only had check engine light
It starts with difficulty and ticks over like a old tractor
Codes were retrieved by my mot bloke who gave me a print out of the faults
Can't check the codes myself, only got a array of dashboard lights
Have fiddled about with the sensors today, Martin at DRA was very helpful when I phoned him for advice, he suggested checking the ECU 5v reference to the sensors, it is there but on the intake air temp it's on both pins??? Starting to look like a short or, god forbid, the ECU is naff
Thanks for your interest
