Advice on buying Bongo with cracked windscreen

Hi!
I tried searching the forum for windscreen advice, but I didn't find anything recent so though I would make my own post!
My girlfriend and I have found a lovely 2000 Bongo tin top (imported in 2015) with good history and 78k miles for £2900. The only thing I can find to be wrong with it is a crack in the windscreen which was an MOT advisory. My question is whether this is something I should be worried about - are these windscreens repairable or do they need to be replaced? Depending on the answer to that, how much do you think we are looking at?
More generally, do you think we're getting a reasonably good deal?
Thanks in advance,
Alex
