Bongo Fury

Hi - I am installing some LED strip lights to improve the lighting in the back of the van. I am planning to use 12V LED strips in an aluminium profile/conduit. I have a leisure battery with a separate supply to the fuse box. I was thinking of using the power source that feeds the internal lights.

Can anyone recommend the best way to route the power cable from the fuse box up to the AFT hatch area. I want to hide/conceal the wiring as much as possible. I am proposing to make a rectangle of light (1.2 x 0.9) in the roof slightly larger than the AFT opening.

The lights come with a chunky dimmer switch. Does anyone have experience of fixing one in a suitable location?

Follow the existing wiring looms, or pickup the same feeds from the internal lights.

Thanks Geoff. I only bought the car about a month ago so have no experience (yet) of removing panels etc. Are there any guides about removing the trim/headlining ? I don't have a manual yet.

Normal trim panel type clips, sprung metal, so either use the right tool(s) or take care tot to stretch them or let them ping off to be lost, looms run around the top the of the van ceiling feeding down to the switches and items around the van.
