Accessing Members Area: Problems With Chrome?

Post by Ian » Sun Sep 06, 2020 8:35 am

I have now had 3 people, all Chrome browser users, who have said they can not enter the members area of the main Bongo Fury website. I've tried it myself on PC, tablet and phone and have not had any issues. Has anybody else had any problems?

Works on my phone in a Dorset field.

Have they twigged there's a new password?

The password has not changed. I've sent them the full logging in instructions just in case a simple error has been made and am awaiting response.

Using Chrome here on my Laptop no problems gaining access, might be worth checking version in use perhaps ?
Google Chrome is up to date
Version 85.0.4183.83 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Allan's closed. We recommend PGS (Plymouth Garage Services) or Mayflower Auto Services in Plymouth.

I use Chrome on my work laptop. I don't often go into Bongoland. I just did today after reading this thread and entered the usual Username, not me, with the current password, with a capital first letter, in the August update. I got this:

Oh I can't upload a word doc with my screenshot
or a pdf

OK it says:

"You do not have the privileges to see this page. In the future please create your own account for the shop so you can track your orders on this page."

I tried to login as me 'Jillygumbo' with my own password and got this:

"! Error: The username or password you entered is incorrect. Lost your password?"

I don't actually need to go into Bongoland, but through I'd report what I found.
