Heh, they're designed for easy access aren't they, might have to go and but some crowsfoot sockets.

New CAT and new 2 Wire Engine Temperature Sensor.
CO reading down from 7.194% to a more respectable and passable 0.039% !! I think it was the combination of the above / temp sensor causing over-fueling which blocked the CAT. I have some very useful tools now should anyone else need to attempt the same ;-)
Always better to fix, rather than bodge, cheat or avoid.
