Which new car stereo should I buy (that works with phones?)

Hello we have a pretty old car stereo in our 2001 Bongo which we're looking to upgrade.

We would like something that provides satnav (just linking to Google Maps on our phones is fine) as well as allows easy streaming from Spotify and so on. Hands free calls would also be great.

Does anyone have any recommendations about what to buy? I'd really appreciate any advice.

Sounds like I really just want something that links to my phone but the whole looking at my phone's Google Maps while it falls off the dashboard again is getting pretty old....

Would something like this work? https://www.halfords.com/technology/car ... 13294.html

We have a normal single (single DIN?) stereo unit in there but there is a space above it that just has a tray in it so I assume we could fit something bigger in there?

Be aware that DAB coverage isn't as good as FM coverage especially outside Urban areas around the more remote coastal areas, I would strongly suggest that any device needs to include "old" FM reception as well as DAB as a minimum!

Hello.
I bought this model in 2017 which has now been updated to:
ATOTO A6 Double Din Android Car Navigation Stereo with Dual Bluetooth - Standard A6Y2710SB 1G/16G Car Entertainment Multimedia Radio,WiFi/BT Tethering Internet,Support 256G SD &More
On Amazon and it fitted straight into the stereo slot on my 2001 bongo. I also purchased the dash cam which simply plugs in.

Thanks for the hints. Sorry I should have said we’re an Apple / iPhone household so although the Atoto looks awesome I don’t think it will work well with our existing kit? Looks like Apple CarPlay is more expensive though. Sigh!
