Roof bars

Looking for a pair of roof bars to mount solar panels. Bongo is of the 96 vintage tin top and bars to mount to the gutter runs

Same as the roof rack is fitted to so I can retain that as well.

Be very, very, careful if you fit a panel like that.

At speed the panel will almost certainly act as an aerofoil and will be subjected to a large amount of lift, think carying a sheet of ply in a high wind.

It could well remove the roof bars at motorway speed, or, at the very least, will greatly reduce grip on the road. :?

Thanks I hadn't actually thought of that was trying to think of a secure way without drilling into the roof. Perhaps I should start a different thread asking opinions and what's been done previously. I have messaged the member who supplies the kits on here but haven't had a response.

Certainly agree with you not drilling holes in the roof. :)
