Higher profile tyres okay?

Hello All,
Ive recently purchased a Bongo 2.0L Tin Top and absolutely love it!
The tyres need changing, the manual states I need 195/70R 15 on the front and 215/65R15 on the rear.
Does anybody know if its possible to fit 215/70S15 all round? Im looking at the Michelin Agilis CrossClimate.
Many thanks

Hi, and welcome
You can certainly fit the same size tyres back and front. 215/65/15 is fine, with a minimum load rating of 96.
Agilis Crossclimes are available in that size. I'm no tyre expert so can't comment on 215/70s, other than it will affect the speedo, although mine reads so far under this may be a plus.
I'd also recommend fitting a full size spare if you still have the original skinny.
Hope that helps a bit.

For info you would need to inform your insurance company of a 'modification' if you fit non standard tyres.

Thanks for the reply Bob.
My reason for asking is that the 215/70 tyres have a C rating for fuel economy as apposed to the 215/65 which have an E.
The owners book I have states both of the above for the rear tyres, but not sure if the 70 profile will be okay on all four tyres.

If they're ok on the back I can't see they would do any harm on the front.
There's plenty of room under the wheel arches, the rims are the same, and this is a very small increase.
