Does anyone out there know if there's such a thing as a H4 bulb kit containing wedge rear bulbs?
Most kits have bayonets, these are only useful for indicators, the others are 21/5 wedge stop/tail & 16w wedge for reverse.
Someone in previous times went out their way to stock this van with bayonets, these are of not much use for a brake light or whatever!
It would be good if the Bongo shop had bulb kits for the later vans.
Stay safe, Rick.

Re: Spare Bulb Kits
Might be worth just getting one of each wedge type and swap them in the existing kit?
Mine's '96 so I didn't know the newer ones were different, learn something every day, thanks.

Re: Spare Bulb Kits
That's what I'll end up doing in the end.
May as well have a screwdriver in the glove box too, although the front indicators would require a spanner, it involves removing the grille, bolts & faff session.
It seems the bulb change started happening around 97 onwards, although there is confusion with later vans having one or the other fitted.
Mine's the second gen facelift model, it looks completely different to the earlier model.

Re: Spare Bulb Kits
I do dispair at manufacturers making it so soddin' difficult to change a poxy bulb.
Father in law's old Renault required jacking up and removing a front wheel to access headlight bulbs via a little cover in the wheel arch.
If your hand is too big the wing has to come off, and that's nowt compared to some modern vehicles. Arghhhh...'

Re: Spare Bulb Kits
Tell me about it, the modern cars require the battery to move, hoping disconnection doesn't result in total immobilisation.
Maybe it's a way of forcing people to seek specialist help, pound signs all the way!
