Hold light slow flashing, used the guide to jump transmission pins on the diagnostic.
I am getting error codes flashing to indicate what I think is 17/14/13, video below

These codes are not in the guide, can anyone help?

Is it a petrol Bongo? It's possible that one of the codes is indicating a problem with the O2 (Lambda) sensor. See here:

Sorry. Forget that. That's an engine code, not a gearbox code.

Thanks for replying
I found the site below and as it's a 2000 diesel I wondered if the code was p1714 from OBDII?

This wouldn't explain the 13 at the end of the sequence, but I'm struggling to make sense of it.

The lists in the Transmission Code factsheet and the McFadden website only apply to earlier gearboxes, so if yours is a 2000 version a shift solenoid could well be where the problem is. Your difficulty will be tracking one down. Mazdabongo.com only stock the solenoid packs for old shape (pre 99) Bongos. You could try Bongospares to see if they have one. Or even a brand new one from Mazda. But before you go down that route I'd get a Bongo or a gearbox expert to take a look to make sure the fault has been identified correctly. Your'e in North Wales aren't you? Then try Beacon Garage in Llandudno

Thanks for tracking down the engine light website by the way, very useful.

Again, thanks for getting back to me. Have now given up on sorting it myself and booked in at the garage that you recommended as that seems the wisest way forward.
