Well, we sold our van last week.
It was a good idea, but in the end the van didn't get used as intended and given the small mileage covered, we spent plenty on maintenance, tax and insurance which made it uneconomical to keep.
Running two vehicles is costly enough these days, but three was unsustainable, so the least-used had to go.
She was bought by a nice chap who seemed pleased with his purchase, and I hope the van gives him lots of happy and trouble-free miles.
I'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to every member of this fine group, your advice and assistance has been invaluable on a number of occasions, and I don't think I have ever been a member of a more friendly and supportive site.
We've both been won over by the pleasures of driving a van though, the high driving position and practicality have been welcome surprises; I can't rule out a similar vehicle but in all honesty it probably won't be a Bongo.
Thanks folks, and happy Bongo-ing to y'all
