Bongo Fury

I’ve noticed that, on occasions, when I first turn the key to start the engine (having waiting for the diesel light to go out) the engine fails to turn over at all (nothing happens). However, if I try again it invariably starts. My Bongo is still under warranty so if the problem is likely to get worse I would like to get it sorted now.

Quite possibly the starter solanoid contacts.

Fortunately repair kits are cheap enough off Flea Bay:
