Hi,

Following the various helpful guides on here and online, I have the following:

I read this as 12 (Throttle position sensor) and 60 (Shift solenoid A)

but the Transmission Codes members-area download says:
Caution: there is no way for the system of flashes to show zero, meaning
code 6 (output speed sensor) and code 60 (shift solenoid A) will be reported
identically!

Anyone here a wizz with the flashes? Any opinions?

06 is an engine code and 60 is a gearbox code - you access engine codes by using the TEN pin and gearbox codes with the TAT pin - so you can tell which is which from which pin you connected to ground.

But that link still has '06' under the automatic transmission error codes too.

When this has happened in the past problems with the TPS are accompanied by problems in the shift solenoid pack. You can get replacements via www.mazdabongo.com
