Interior light question

Hi
Decided to have a look at how I might upgrade the inerior lights in my daughter's 2000 V6 tintop this afternoon.
The good news is that the recessed roof lights are already LEDs which is great!
The fluorescent bulb above the sliding door is another matter however. It has one of those U shaped bulbs (FUL 10T6 D) which looks like it may be original . It is certainly very dull and looks to be on the way out.
I've seen the guides to converting to LEDs on this forum but they both involve doing a bit of rewiring (not much I admit but it's not my strong point!). I was just wondering if there was anything out there that was a simple plug in replacement for the old U shaped bulb. I even considered just getting a like for like replacement but they seem to be impossible to source in this country.
Any thoughts gratefully received as always!
