Bongo Fury

So I opened up the fuse box in the drivers footwell and was surprised to take this...

I know that the fuse slots where the wires are going in are for the radio, blinds, cigarette lighter, etc so I'd guess the wires are bypassing the normal battery to run these from the leisure battery. Is this that normal way to do that???

Visually without moving anything I've not spotted any alternative fuse box linking to the leisure battery. The internal electrics have been pretty temperamental since I bought it but I had presumed the leisure battery was duff rather than the installation.

They are called piggy back connectors. The are a way of getting power without cutting into the vechicle wire harness.

Yes its the "NORMAL" way of connecting the swap loom, not to be confused with piggyback fuses, where an additional fuse is being inserted. The lower fuse connection goes into the loom to the circuits that require powering from the LB. The only other way is to split the connectors on the back which is a pig to do and connect the LB there.
