Anybody fancy tackeroo 2nd until the 4th of November. Unfortunately the price has gone up this year for this camp I think it's now £15 per unit per night for more information about tackeroo see previous posts

£15 is a big hike from £10 and it's a bit too far for me and Ruca for 2 nights, so I'm going to give it a miss. Aren't there any obscure car parks we could inhabit?

...but if you wild-camp in a carpark you'll miss out on all the lush facilities on offer at Tackeroo!

If I were to park in the car park opposite the entrance, I could still sneakily use all those facilities! Or park at the end of one of those roadways.

...or do what a lot seem to do - keep a lookout and scarper when the warden comes round. They probably check the carparks unless you didn't pitch up there until well into the evening.

now there's an idea! That's probably why the price has been hiked up anyway! Honest campers paying for dishonest ones! Which will now happen more!

I'm planning to be there Friday night only, sadly we have something else exciting planned for the Saturday night but I'll be there for a toastie-off on the Friday. M6-permitting should be there about 5pm.
Ok, 7pm
