SRS warning light

Hi, I’m hoping somebody might have some suggestions on my problem. I have a 96 Freda and the airbag light came on two weeks ago, well say come on isn’t exactly right but it is flashing in groups of six.
I have read all the stuff I can find on the forum and have since changed the airbag module and clock spring but it’s still flashing.
I’m not sure where to look next. MOT is looming and I’m starting to worry!
Any advice would be very much appreciated, thank you
