I stumbled across this Mazda FE-F2 comparison document:

This has a nice description of the F2 changes which also appeared in our 2.0 FE-E engine (12 valves, hydraulic lifters etc.) Also has a nice parts interchangeablity table which may help if you're cross matching with the F2/F8.

Cooling system and injection plenum are different so Bongo manual still handy as well.
