Steering Racks

In the past, whenever a new steering rack was required, Western Power Steering in Bristol were the place to go. But sadly they are no more. AVA Leisure will do them (see https://mazdabongo.com/catalog/mazda-bo ... ll-models/) but not everyone returns their old rack for reconditioning and a shortage is developing. If you buy a rack please make sure you send the old one back.
Indeed, if you have a broken Bongo with a rack in repairable condition, AVA will buy it from you to put it back in the system. Speak to andy on 01234-480808.
The same applies to Brake Calipers and Alternators for petrol Bongos; a shortage will occur unless old units are put back in the system for reconditioning.
