Hi Fellow Travellers,

Still planning to come along but will most likely have to be just the Saturday to Sunday, as I've been poorly recently. Planning to get there sometime Saturday early afternoon.

T.

I've had a very nice e mail from Jo thanking us for our visit and she says we're welcome back any time. :)

She's also requested if anyone can please leave feedback on Trip Advisor or Facebook.

Thanks again to everyone for a great weekend. 8)

It was a lovely meet and the weather was really kind to us. Lovely to sit outside in the sun with good company. I managed a 3.6 mile walk on the Friday but then didn't eat enough, so was in bed by 7pm! Slept through to 8am!! Must have needed it.

On the Saturday I didn't do the walk but did the round - that turned out to be 2.7 miles! Nearly went over on my ankle twice because I was tired.

Sunday was rest day in the sun.

Stopped at The Bell at Buckland Dinham on the road from Radstock to Frome for a beautiful Sunday carvery. Expensive but worth it. Very friendly landlord. Dog friendly.

Has a large'ish car park at the back with a campsite behind that: flat with some facilities but I didn't see any hook ups. Opens April to October. £9.00 per night plus £2.50 per person, which sounds ideal for singles. I'm considering going back there sometime when I've got a weekend free!

I'll put a review on for Jo when I get a minute.

I am finally a paid-up member :o !

Lovely to meet you all, and also sleep in my bongo for the first time even if it was a bit last minute.
