Hi everyone,
We're new to this Bongo malarky having just bought our first one. One of the first jobs I tried was removing the rear seats to make more room for camping trips. The seat came out easy - just removed the bolts and lifted it out. However, I cant see a way to get the runners out. We have a rear conversion so they wont slide out the back as I've seen described on here on other posts. Can anyone help?

Hi, and welcome. 8)

You may need to reomve the rails then slide the runners out the end and refit. Possibly need to remove a pin to get them out, it was a long time ago.

From memorey it's a 17mm socket and their bloomin' tight, but perfectly doable.

There is normally a pin, secured by a star washer at the end of the tracks. You need to punch the pin out from the star washer and then you can slide the runners out.

Thanks everyone. :) I'll see if I can get the rails out in the way you've described without removing the kitchen units in the rear. Otherwise, it might be a case of removing the kitchen units to get to the pins and bolts. I'll let you know how I get on.

Likely depends if you have long or short rails.
