Bongo Fury

The middle button on the left hand side of the auto a/c controller is to turn on the rapid demist for the front screen. On my Bongo the orange warning light on this button is always on. The switch works normally (i.e. you can turn the demist on and off) but the light stays on. Looking at the wiring manual it looks like the a/c controller is a single unit with no details of what's inside - is there anyone out there who knows if I can fix this problem (other than by replaceing the whole unit) - if not I guess I'll just live with it!

Sounds like a faulty switch.

I suspect the lamp will be driven by the small computer rather than the switch itself given that the switch is causing the computer to turn the flaps and controls OK.
