Bash Volunteers Required

Post by Ian » Fri Feb 02, 2018 12:34 pm

Do you fancy helping us out at this year's Bash? Without our volunteers this event would not take place. This year we are seeking two or three additions to make sure it runs smoothly. The duties mainly involve checking people in and escorting them to their pitch, but can also involve litter picking, security patrols, helping out in the club shop and setting things up. Full training is given and we will even supply you with a hi-viz jacket! All we ask is that you are available from Wednesday lunch time to Saturday evening for a minimum of 10 hours over four days.

In return you will be given a priority booking including a guaranteed electric hook-up (if required), and you can arrive a day early (on Tuesday) if you want. You will also be given FREE camping subject to the number of sessions that you volunteer for.

If you are willing to help, post here, or email me at [email protected]. Or phone me to discuss further on 07932-844321 (leave message).

I'm planning on coming on Friday evening, till Sunday afternoon. I'll be available to help if you'd like more for the weekend itself. My thank you to be negotiated!

Have you got Sue on the list in addition to me?

And in work the tradition was to volunteer anyone who wasn't there at the time.

That used to learn 'em to show up.

Bob, I've counted you and Sue as one volunteer working together. Because I know you like to be with each other 24 hours a day

Thanks to those who have contacted me direct; we have enough volunteers now. All of you will be sent some further information later this week.

No probs, we can work independently.

If Sue is on duty I can entertain the masses, or at least Sue will know where the problem is likely to be.
