What is the standard size of wind out awning to put on a bongo?

2.4 m just reaches and overlaps the passenger door a bit. 2.6m covers the door but doesn't extend out over the "A" pillar, but you do need to make sure the material is at least level otherwise opening the passenger door fouls the awning if it slopes down at all (think sloping the awning during rain and at night!).
