Bongo Fury

I have a Ford Freda 2.5 diesel four wheel drive auto. I had not had it long when I lost all gears, the local mechanics have said that the box had lost its oil,overheated and seized. My question is, how much am I looking at paying to have the box reconditioned ? I dont really want to have a second hand one fitted as there is no knowing of the condition of the box, it will probably have no warranty and I could be having trouble soon after fitting. With my box reconditioned it will have a warranty and will give me some assurance it is in good order. Thanks for any advice anyone can give me. Paddy in Bolton.

They can supply and fit, or deliver anywhere - personally, given they're not stupidly far from you, I'd think about getting your poorly Bongo transported over to them.

I imagine they offer a warranty.

Thinking about it you could spend a lot getting your box stripped down only to find it's damaged beyond economic repair.
