Bongo Fury

As in previous years there's a plan to visit Eastnor Castle over the weekend 29 - 30 September 2017. We must vacate by 12 noon on the Sunday 1st October but you can arrived earlier than the Friday if you want to.

Please be aware that the facilities consist of taps for fresh water and wotsit pits for emptying the toilet, therefore you must be self sufficient.

There are no hook ups.

We have always had a great time here and been made very welcome.

I have made contact with the Estate Office and booked provisionally and have to give a pretty accurate number a week before, so if you would form an orderly queue to show interest that would be great.

Looks like a bargain £7 per unit per night rally price, (min ten units) and in the past we've paid the warden individually when he comes round.

We've always paid the rally price if arriving early or staying on after the weekend, just say you're with Bongos and Friends.

I don't plan to advertise anywhere else but friends and family, of course, most welcome.

Probably an off road walk into Ledbury on Saturday for a pub lunch and everything else informal/whatever we want to do.

Off ground fire pits and BBQs have always been allowed so if we can each bring a bag of fire wood, preferably cut into useable sizes, that would be great.

Thanks for organising. But when we mentioned the last weekend I thought it would be 29 to 1st as I'm sure it's open until 2nd. I don't think I'll be able to manage 22nd as I'll be in Cornwall still.

Pretty sure Sat 30th is the last camping night, ie we can't stay Sunday.

No, you're right. It closes on the 28th which is a Saturday. That's unusual as it's usually the Monday after, unless it's a mistake on the website?

I'll tell Nancy and Roly, Davey and Haydn.

Caz, Deb & Mary have something else booked for that weekend.

Haydn Williams and Davey want to come and Haydn has asked that Alison & Andy can also come please. I can vouch for them, they used to run the Bracelands Adventure Centre in the Forest of Dean. So that's 4 units with Nancy & Roly.

I've e mailed and asked for the later weekend.

Eastnor have kindly replied and changed the dates.

We're booked for Friday and Saturday nights, 29th and 30th Sept, and must depart on Sunday morning, 1st Oct.

Never been a problem arriving sooner, but the Sunday is set in stone.

Jilly, would you please use your Super Blue Powers to amend info.

Possible Sue won't be able to make it as she has some part time work up until the end of September.

Only started yesterday so she'll settle in a bit then try and negotiate a day or two off, possibly put the hours in ahead.
