Hi Bongonaughts, my beautiful Beryl Bongo has a 4 part 'Winter Pack Exhaust System', she's got a wee hole in the back box which I want to replace. Long story short, I'd like to buy a new exhaust system and got my eye on a shining new 3 part system, complete with Gaskets/bolts and rubber hangers. Is it a feasible option to transfer from a 4 part Winter pack to a 3 part without it causing unnecessary additional problems? I can easily get a shining new 'Winter Pack Exhaust system but was just curious to find out if implications could arise with my intentional change?. and also to establish if the 3 part is better than a 4 part or does it not matter? My Beryl Runs great and I don't want to change something that isn't broken (apart from the wee hole in the back box).

Your advice and experience is much appreciated.

Thank you :D

Brilliant thank you Gasy. Can you confirm if the 3 part is better than the 4 part? or does it make no difference?

You lose the winter quick warm up capability. If it isn't currently working then you lose nothing and there is less to go wrong (the winter valve has been known to jam in the start-up position).
