Hi all, just had some work done on my bongo 1997 2.5 turbo diesel, I took it to Allans vehicle services in Plymouth.
He welded the rear cross member and bit of cills , also he got it MOT'd. It passed

with no advisories.
Really nice bloke took a lot of time to go over thing's with me, and general chat about bongo's.
I live in Torquay so not to far, just long bus ride to and from. Got ripped off in Torquay by a japanese specialist
garage, supposed to know all about bongo's (one less customer)
Cant wait to go out somewhere.

There is no better place for Bongos than Allan's, been there for Bongos since the first ones waded ashore in the UK. There are other very good places also, in other parts of the UK, but none nearer to Torquay.

Nearly 10 years of visiting Allan. **** knows what I'd have done 10 years ago with one of the early V6s in the Uk that I bought of the quay at auction inSouthampton. Allan knew.
Glad he's shoulders mended from the op! Shame that auction went as well. Can you imagine choosing from over a hundred Bongos today?

Gets my thumbs up and I am hardly round the corner. I did a bus ride though mine was couretesy of National express (200+ miles)

And yes good news to hear on shoulder, sounded terrible and cannot have been easy working through that pain in the job he does.

Mine's just been down and back from South Wales to Allan's.
Given that it's currently SORN'ed I reckon I made good use of the one trip to/from an MOT test rule

Let's hope you get away with it.
You'll know within 2 weeks.

I actually drove it down once before when it wasn't having an MOT and just completely forgot to tax it beforehand
I was convinced that was going to be an expensive mistake but somehow got away with it. I would have thought there are a number of ANPR sites along the M5.
