led lights in rear cabin

I have 2 LED 12v strip lights that I would like to fit in the rear cabin. They are pre wired and have a red and black wire connection (live and Common)?
I have found the wiring loom under the roof lining running down the drivers side to the rear of the van and wondered if I could splice into this. if this is possible does anyone know which wires I could use to connect to the new lights?
