Side door heads up (when Bongo is out of your sights)..

As Bongo owners we know about the motor assisted side door. I took my Bongo for an MOT at a local garage and it went through no bother. I closed the side door today and the motor assist was not working. I initially thought it was broke. I suspected the side door had been slammed full force like a van door when they tested the rear seat belts, as they would do. You know.... vrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr WHAM!!!!! Anyway I pushed the buttons in gently on the sensors and it was working again. Phew !
If you are taking the Bongo to a very local MOT station for convenience even if not entrusting them with any Bongo-centric mechanical repairs it might be an idea to tape a bit of A4 on the side door with "Do not slide slam this door like a van door it is sensitive and motor assisted. A gentle slide to meet is all that is needed. Thank You."
Just to avoid problems.
