Hi my roof warning light on the dash lights up on starting but goes out after about 10 seconds with hand brake on and in park roof not moving have checked hand brake switch all ok when pressing roof up switch get beeping but no movement dose the light need to stay on ?

When you first put Ignition on it will do a Lamp Test,
Then when raising or lowering it will flash as it bleeps,
it will start flashing when you hit the lock cancel button and then finally will go out when it reaches full height or fully down.
If you hit lock cancel it will start beeping and flashing but if you don't do any raising/lowering it will cancel after about 5-10 seconds.

thanks will have another go roof has not been up for a long time as far as I know was not going when I bought it in august last year thinking it may be stuck up with dirt etc; in motors

found water has been inside control box and made a rusty area on one corner not sure if this helps with raising the roof all my photos to large to !upload
