Bongo Fury

I took the nearside headlight out yesterday to give me room to replace the headlight connector that had melted with a ceramic one.

Whilst I had the headlight out I noticed that there was an unused connector below the headlight - does anyone know what it is?

The connector is show in the middle of the photo below. I was hoping that it might be a fog light connector as it is close to where the fog lights are. I have fog lights but they are connected to anything so don't actually work!

It looks like a Front Fog connector plug,

but you may not have the rest of the looms required as they are optional, there should be a relay on the nearside wheel arch for instance;

Just got the 3 relays there like in the picture.

I take it that means the rest of the system isn't there? Would it be easier to just run new wiring for the fogs, if I did want to connect them up?

Probably, check to see if there socket for the relay that isn't fitted is there if it is then it might be worth using it as the switch end is always present behind the dashboard, so it would then be a case of sourcing relay (easy ebay) and switch they are available at times prices vary however depending if it says Bongo in the title

could be front fogs, look for the drivers side one. but it could be the plug that controls the parking pole, this is quite a complicated set up when wired up, it has power from the side light circuit to turn it on then there is a supply from a relay that lifts the telescopic raising poles, a bit like the old car aerials but with a small bulb on top.

get a multi meter and put the probes in and turn on side lights, then try the fog light circuit, that should help.
