Very sad news.

Seems one of the greatest is up there in Music Heaven.

RIP.

Oh crap was just discussing him (and Little Richard) yesterday. An absolute legend, foundation stone of rock and roll, has left us. A sad moment indeed.

Remember him with a smile and thank you for all the good times Chuck, let 'em roll. RIP

Watched a documentary about him some time back apparently he travelled economy class everywhere and used buses to get to gigs.
He would come on do his set then go, didnt hang around after!
Brown eyed handsome man.

Well, I learned something new when I saw his picture in the paper on Sunday.

Never having been much of a television or popular culture person, I never actually saw him and for no particular reason assumed he was white. I just visualised him along with Elvis, Buddy Holly etc.(although I did know what those two looked like, but not very many others).

RIP (Although it doesn't sound as though peace was really his scene). Unforgettable listening.
