Lucky escape.

To a day I did a bit of garden tidying, then went to take the rubbish to the tip in our diesel Freda. No joy, the battery was too flat (lack of use). Popped the battery on charge and took the rubbish to the tip in the car. An hour or so later, went to start the van - no keys, can't find them anywhere. Did I put them in my old gardening jacket pocket, the one with the hole? Searched everywhere, but no joy. My wife said (several times), You Need To Ask At The Tip. In the end, with no options left, that's what I did. 'Have any keys been handed in?' I asked? 'What sort of keys?' was the reply. 'Well, there's an all metal one, one with black plastic top, and a a remote fob on a single keyring'. Hooray, thank (insert preferred deity here), they had them.
So the moral of the story is, dear reader, a) Listen to advice, and b) don't keep all your Freda keys on the same keyring. And c) get another alarm fob!
