OK you lot, budge up and move down the field one more slot, the DVLA have seen fit to give me a Practical Driving pass slip ... only after 40+ years

So you should be seeing a bit more of me for the next few years .... as soon as I sort out the insurance;
Only two firms out of all the ones on the Insurance page want to know about covering "new" drivers, but actually not as bad a price as I thought it might be!

Indeed, need a few weeks of local stuff to switch from a little Fiesta manual, to a 2.5l V6 Automatic 2 tonne camper

But yes have booked SS and will be looking to several more weekends, slotted around
Phil's SuP board activities, looks like I'm going to be his driver for his
SUP Endurance race activities around the country!

Flying out of Hong Kong is one thing.
Flying in used to be real fun when it was the old Kai Tak:

As you will see, approach was flown towards the red and white checker board painted on the mountain, then hang a hard right.

Lets not ask Geoff to do that just yet eh? And his v6 isn't even 4wd.

Fair shout, a good landing at Softies will do nicely.
We do have the river at Stourport to practice carrier landings.

Given my interests I got Jerry & Fred down at Discount trucks to install
Electric Reactive Armor that way any other vehicle looking to intrude on my space just get vaporised! Gets a bit noisy inside but very little damage

You don't believe me

Cheers Ian, really appreciate that. Just spent 2hrs watching loads of side splittingly funny youtube clips of caravan 'incidents'. I SHOULD of course have been working as I don't ACTUALLY retire until 31st March.
Bongo folk. I dunno, waddya do with 'em.
