On Saturday Brian from Wigan (Bongoplod) went to New Dawn Conversions to pick up his Bongo which Den had converted. But while he was waiting for the table to be installed he was suddenly taken ill and had to be rushed to hospital
Den phoned me at Mission Control to see if we had Brian's home phone number (which we did), Brian's wife was informed, and she rushed down to the West Midlands to be with Brian. Den offered to put her up, but she is staying in a B&B.
Brian has had an emergency op, and will be in hospital for the next 10 days. I'm sure you will join me in wishing him all the best.

Goodness, sorry to hear Brian is unwell, but good news he was with friends and help was quickly summoned.
Very best wishes from both of us, and if we can help let us know. Happy to pop up to Midlands and assist with transport if needed.
Get well soon matey.

Here's an update on Brian. He suffered an aneurysm in the chest. Jean is staying down in Birmingham, and Brian seems to be doing well, and he should be moved out of critical care once a bed becomes available in the high dependency unit. He's got out of bed, is sitting up, and eating some tasty hospital food. "Still a long way to go but things are as good as they could be".
