Why would you want to replace the suspension arms if it's only the dust covers
Think dust covers are about £15 plus fitting
I've had the same advisories for dust covers
Didn't bother replacing as they were ok no splits just a few little cracks in the rubber
Took it back to same place next year
No advisories that year

Wouldn't worry.
If the covers were allowing muck to get in then it would be a fail.
Clean them up and smear them heavily with Vaseline.
You can buy the rubber boots from any motor factor, they can be tricky to fit, a couple of quid each.
In any case you wouldn't need to change the whole arm even if the boots had split.

Strange. I can't get Google maps to tell me where that is, hey ho. But anyway, for the benefit of Bobnwen, it doesn't sound especially convenient for Adrian in Bury, who i might otherwise have suggested calling. He's one of the most time served Bongo specialists out there, very good, great to deal with, and careful with customers money.

Bongospares seem to be gathering a reputation for their work fixing bongos and are a lot nearer. Maybe try them? Halifax I think.
