Hissing in the cab

This is a bit of a strange one. I have suddenly been made aware of a hissing noise coming from the dash area. It only occurs when my foot is on the accelerator and then immediately stops when I take my foot off.
I cant think what it is.
I had dropped it off to be tarted up, I had new alloys and wheels and stereo fitted. From then on this noise has occured.
Any suggestions about the Hissing sid scenario.
Cheers

Does sound like the turbo. Check both the front seats are properly "closed" with the 3 clips - the engine noise is more noticable if they are not properly locked in place

Check that the tool cover inside the sliding door has been fitted correctly -it surprising the noise it generates if not fully closed

This may sound daft but the hissing isn't from the speakers is it?? Just thinking that as you have had a new stereo fitted you may be getting some interference and need a suppressor fitted, it's quite feasible this will hiss in time to your right foot! there are some recent threads on this and it could be an earth feed also!
