Front Wheel Arch Trims - cannot safely secure!

Hi,

This is probably a question already asked. I have just brought the wheel arch trims to my Bongo from eBay. I have safely secured the rears as I have a lip that the thin metal strips can wrap around on the rear arches. However, I cannot see how I can attach the the front trims as there is no lip on the front arches.

Does anybody know how this can be done? Would it be appropriate to use some kind of gum to attach them instead of the thin metal strips?

Thoughts and ideas much appreciated! Thanks!

You will have a lip, but the plastic wheelarch liner will be touching it. You'll have to push it back to reveal the lip.

Thank you for your reply

What do I need to push back, the wheel arch lip itself or the wheel arch trim I have bought?

Cheers

Ummmm....I don't really won't to cause any damage or interfere with the wheel arch it self really. Is there any particular adhesive that could be safely used?

Sikaflex is a product that gets mentioned a lot. Have a google to see if it might meet your needs. Mask off paintwork though as its horrible stuff if it gets where it shouldn't. Also, it may need some time to set so you might need a way of clamping trim to bodywork while it does.
