Its easy to knock the isolator switch to off, the long one below the up/down ones.

If not its likely the loom where it goes from the A pillar to driver's door.

Easy repair.

Easy for novice.

Strip back insulation and you will likely see broken wire(s).

Strip back to good wire and solder in a new piece maybe 2 inches long. Use heat shrink sleeving, or at worst, pvc tape to insulate.

Hi,

As young Bob says. easy enough but a tight spot to work in. The loom between the drivers door & body forms a V. Over the years the wires in the loom can break where it bends in the bottom where the loom straps to the door hinge?. Another place hazard to spot is where the loom goes into the body to the footwell? Under this sheath in the grmmet it can break in the loom too. But harder to spot.

You may find if you open & close the driver's door a shade & jiggle this loom bunch. You may (as a temp measure.) get a connection to close the window??

Just to add. The driver's door switch controls both. So The "smart money" is on the driver's side loom..

Maybe the poster could introduce themselves before offering services and inviting users to an off-site link.

I really should read all the posts
Just spent a few mins rereading the first few posts
Trying to figure out who's touting for business
Then read to the bottom to find it's been deleted
Thought it was my reading and writing messing me about again
