I have been looking all day for someone to supply & fit a decent tow bar to the Bongo. My disappointments are : No one picking up the phone :x sorry mate don't do imports  Not sure mate givus ya number and al ring yer back? still waiting!

what is it with this country these days. I mean a Bongo ffs!

Anyone know of a decent towbar fitting place within 50-60 miles of Whitley Bay? Tried Stanley Tow bar centre no luck, tired Bewick who fitted LPG conversion who said they would do it then backed off! Tried Towbar2you won't touch imports? I have exhausted google now I am stuck.

I don't want a mobile jobby as I want some paperwork /insurance! I have found a cracking caravan but if I cannot get a bar fitted I am stuffed.

Do I really have to change my vehicle for the want of a tow bar do I?

Help! willing to travel.

The Mobile ones down here do, also have a Unit they work from and all the normal paper work etc.! You can visit if you wish or they will call on you!
Have you tried Yellow Pages lots of smaller companies don't have time for a decent web presence.

My local independent that did my servicing supplied and fitted some of my towbars. Never on an import but I would have been very surprised if he turned down what is a fairly ordinary job, especially if you recommend the most suitable towbar.

What is the most suitable tow bar? Someone who fits tow bars has said he did not call me back because he was struggling to get one for a Bongo? but If I get one he will fit it and guarantee the work. :D result

Problem solved :D :D

A1 Tow bars Sheffield 1pm Friday. Me & the Mrs off into town for lunch and a few hours cultural tour of the local area Happy days. Looks like the Northeast is crap for Bongo's shame on them!

Just had one fitted by the now famous George (Paul Hulme) at Bongospares in West Yorkshire. May be worth a blast down the A1.

It's hard to tell but I think from your profile picture you've got a new shape Aero? Any chance of some decent pictures, especially of where the rear skirt has been trimmed if you have a full width skirt on the rear.

I'm contemplating a small trailer so obviously will need a towbar.

Cheers
