Blinds on LB

Has anyone ever had any issues with moving the blinds over to the leisure battery? I'm being advised that it isn't a good idea and can cause issues but an unsure what/why this would be? I know the 3rd party loom people often refer to on here seems to has that as one as one of the things you can use it for.

Thanks

Alan

Mine have run happily off the LB for many years, since i fitted the Willinton kit that included fuse jumpers for reassigning several feature to the LB. Wouldn't want the blinds any other way :-)

No problem at all, every LB wiring loom kit you buy has the facility to swap those circuits over!

Thanks Geoff. I'll try and work out what has already been swapped over. I am hoping that it is the radio, lights and cig lighters. I assume I should be able to see some evidence by examining the fuse box and tracing wires from there. Depending on what I find I might buy one of Rooster's looms and have a go at putting that in. The blinds seemed to be one of the obvious things to swap over so I was a bit perturbed to be told that wasn't a good idea and caused problems.

Yes the idea was first used by the Willinton kits and looks like this;

Thanks Geoff, you must get sick of having to post that picture :) I found another good discussion by you at http://igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/view ... =3&t=69974 so should be able to manage from the description there.

Cheers
