Good morning all,

I picked up my Bongo 2.5td at the end of February and have been smitten ever since.
She is not that young (R plated) but has been kept in good nick and has relatively low mileage too boot.

Since purchase I have had some electrical work carried out by member Dodgy in Taunton who I can thoroughly recommend. He supplied and fitted a 100 watt solar panel and associated wiring/control system along with fitting a leisure battery supplied by myself.

I have had a couple of adventures out over long weekends that have been great, but I now see myself in need of a drive away awning for my next trip so that I can avoid having a wet dog laying on my all night.

Matt

Hi it is a shame you didn't make it to the Bash in Stourport. You could have oggled loads of awnings to see which one would be best for you. You need to decide if you want one to attach to the bongo or not, how big, how easy to put up/take down, etc before committing yourself.

Thankk you.

Yes, shame i couldn't make it, but work need me.

I have dog and 3 year old so I'm thinking that a drive away awning is what I need and I have been looking at Olpro Breeze Air.

Seems to get good reviews and also seems like sensible price. Could go cheaper with a poled instead of inflatable, but the speed and simplcity of erecting it is very attractive.

Hey Matt, we have used our Olpro Breeze twice now and absolutely love it. It really does take a few mins to put up BUT then making it secure takes a little longer. Drive away aspect is a little fiddly but it depends on how you attach it to your Bongo - we use the figure of eight plastic attachments but I'm getting better at sliding them off and getting them back on when/if we need to pop up the shops.
