Bongo Fury

I'm considering installing a Haydn low Coolant/high temp alarm, but I'm also considering installing a 2 din radio, so the standard location in the pocket under a 1 din radio would not be an option.

Where have others installed their low Coolant/high temp alarms? With audible warnings, I'm not too concerned if it isn't visible.

Mine is held onto the bottom curve of the dash with 2 small screws near my left knee. I like to glance at it during warm up. You can see it through the steering wheel on occasion or if you move your head slightly.

It is worth knowing how your Bongo heats up as you drive IMO. Recently I needed that insight but it was too late anyway. (A local garage cracked my cylinder head before I had even set off and kept their gobs shut, nice.) Then you get greater insight in to heat vs time vs travelled distance.

(PS sorry all that every other post is littered with Bongo woe. I will get over it eventually)

You will. My tm2 display is fitted in a similar position i think - discreet but easy to keep an eye on.

If you have a block of 3 unused switches....a bit of careful cutting will allow a very neat result.
