The passenger side will not work
All will work with the hazard lights operating so it is not bulbs
I have swopped the flasher relay but still the same
Any thoughts
Thanks

was the accident front corner or rear corner or other, sounds like an earth fault. most of the lighting earths are bolted to the front next to the headlights, they are mounted in small blocks/clusters then bolted to the front panel, try putting an earth wire from the rear of the front /rear light then connect to the earth on the starter battery or just to a clean earth near the affected light, mind you dont short out the light then pop a fuse, check for the live wire first. or it maybe that the flasher unit earth is disturbed.

Thanks for the reply
Damage was rear end and drivers wing and door
Accidentley reversed in to the house at speed ( wrong pedal) and caught the door on a wall this wrapped round and creased the wing
I will have a play with the earths tomorrow and will post any findings

ouch, my daughter did similar once with mine, flicked the key while in gear (manual box) smashed the back end into a pile of bikes.

.
the rear harness is threaded through about 3 holes in its route into the interior, if its been caught or cut just unplug the light unit and pull it all back inside and inspect and test etc, it does sound like an earth problem though.
does it have little front wing indicator repeaters fitted, is it working.

I have an Earth at front and rear indicators and at the flasher unit in footwell
I do not have the small flasher unit on side of wing
My an has a side conversion so it is difficult to get inside to check the wireing there
I will probably have to get an auto electrician to look at it
I need to get her going so I can get quotes for the dents and a respray

many Thanks for your help northern bongolow I have now fixed the problem
It was nothing to do with the electrics but a small piece of the indicator stalk had broken off
This piece moves the switch up or down and as it was on when it broke I was unable to turn it off
I had to have the steering wheel off to access the stalk but all done now I just need to get quotes
For the bodywork ans respray now
