50,000 km (although we recommend changing it annually; even more frequently if you are using a veg-oil mix)

Fuel in the UK is good quality so if you go abroad a lot then it may need replacing more often.

Thanks for the time replying. I cannot help but feel that it seems there is no actual suggested service interval then. No veg oil here. 31,000 miles and every year. Hmm quite a difference.

I do circa 3,500 miles a year. I take it on both accounts, that the 2 years mine has been on it won't need changing yet. I will get it done in a couple of years time. (I never have any starting issues at all since I loosened the diesel cap off a tad and the Bongo always runs sweet)

The actual Mazda service interval of the fuel filter is 50,000 Km's.
As with any fuel filter, if you use non-standard fuel in it then you may need to replace sooner. The 'how sooner' is the bit that cananot be specified as there are too many if's and but's.

Thanks for confirming Joe. Mine should be fine for years to come.
