Front wiper arms

Post by cushers » Sun Apr 03, 2016 4:40 pm

Hi all , sat in Freda in the rain having a cuppa and noticed the wiper arms need some tlc. Is it a fairly simple job to remove? Anyone done this on a 95? Any advice?

TIA

Very easy. I have a 1998 model - there is a round, black pop-off cap covering the nut that needs removing (with a socket set) then the arm simply lifts off the toothed spindle. Can be a bit tight but no real headache.

I had to remove mine to remove rust from the arms, sand down, respray and refit and it really was a doddle.
It starts with love for foliage and ends in camouflage...

I'd recommend getting a puller to help remove the arms if they're stuck on: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BATTERY-TERMI ... xy~dNTHsij
