Bongo Fury

We are on holiday just now and central locking that is operated by thatcham keyfob is arming the system but not locking the doors. So I have to press the key to operate the alarm then lock doors manually. However I just press the unlock on the keyfob all all the doors unlock. Has anybody any suggestions on what the issue is ?

I have always operated the central locking from the keyfob, it has never worked from using the key ( unless I am missing something here?)

Maybe a broken wire in the door loom?

Almost certainly as above.

Very common for the wires to break inside the insulation where to loom passes from the pillar into the driver's door.

Simple fix is solder in about 2" of new wire but new looms are available.

A search on here will bring up loads more.

Thanks for the advice, I will check out the wiring there but will have to leave it until get home
